Fire District Board of Directors

A Fire District Board of Directors plays a crucial role in guiding and overseeing the strategic direction of a fire district. Comprising community members, these directors are responsible for making policy decisions, allocating resources, and ensuring the effective delivery of firefighting and emergency services. Their duties include financial oversight, community engagement, advocacy for public safety, and collaboration with fire department leadership to enhance the overall well-being and safety of the community they serve. Through their dedication and decision-making, the Board of Directors helps shape the vision and mission of the fire district, ensuring it remains responsive to the evolving needs of the community.

The Linden-Peters Fire Protection District has a five-member governing body. Our Board of Directors are elected at large and serve four year terms. Our board members are compensated for their time at a rate of $75.00 for a regular meeting and $50.00 for special and committee meetings.
